Linton J. “Sucre” Guidry Sr., 74, a native of Clovelly Farms and a resident of Larose, La., died at 4:50 p.m. Monday, November 17.
He is survived by one son, Linton J. “Sonny” Guidry Jr.; one daughter, Mary G. Adams; one sister, Ruby G. Bourg; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne M. Guidry; his parents, Numa and Bella Allemand Guidry; and three sisters, Eva G. Charpentier, Ruth G. Vicknair and Earline G. Rodrigue.
He was a member of South Lafourche Baptist Church and was a retired boat captain.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, November 20, at South Lafourche Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Barrios Cemetery in Valentine, La.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
