Lloyd George Denning, 90, a native of Bay City, Tx., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, June 8.


He is survived by his wife, Vaudie Lou Hodge Denning of Houma; sons, Michael Denning of Chauvin, La., Donald Denning of New Iberia, La., Lloyd Denning of Dulac, La., Curtis Denning of Bourg, La., and Charles Denning of Berwick, La.; brother, Marvin Denning of Robstown, Tx.; sister, Pearl Gann of Robstown; 24 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ward Denning and Elizabeth Nolan Denning; and son, J.W. Denning.

He was a retired tool pusher with Marlin Drilling and a member of the Masons.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow. He will be buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
