February 19, 2012Lola Haynes Jones Bourgeois, 82, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012.
Mrs. Bourgeois enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and tending to her flower garden. She was a retired office professional with Ormet Corporation.
She is survived by her son, Ted (Deborah) Jones; grandchildren, Bronson and Britton (Valerie) Jones; and great-grandchildren, Sadie Blanchard and Maddox and Karson Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Bourgeois; parents, Ambrose and Julia Haynes; and sister, Dorothy Richard.
Interment was at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Cemetery in Donaldsonville. (Ourso)
