Lonnie Paul Bourg, 64, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Thursday, April 17, 2014.
Mr. Bourg was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam era. He retired from Texaco and was a consultant and superintendent at Denbury Resources. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Unity Lodge 267 F&AM, Scottish Rite and York Rite Masons and Jerusalem Temple Shriners. He loved gardening and landscaping and was parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Elinor Bourg; daughter, Kerri Boquet; son, Marvin Bourg Jr.; parents, George and Rose Bourg; and siblings, Sheila Aucoin and Rodney, Byron and Rosalyn Bourg.
Visitation will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday, April 21, at St. Ann Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
