October 18, 2012Lorena Rogers Griffin, 94, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012.
Mrs. Griffin was loving, caring and compassionate and enjoyed making handmade quilts, music and dancing. She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her sister, Irene Arcement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Griffin; parents, Leon and Emily Rogers; and sisters, Earline Dominique and Leonise Breaux.
Burial was at Holy Savior Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
