Louis Joseph “Beto” Eymard, 96, a native of Galliano, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., passed away Wednesday, March 11, at his home.

He is survived by his sons, Rodney and Michael Eymard; daughters, Ruth Orgeron, Mamie Melancon and Stella Pierce; sister, Mathilde Savoie; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Hunter Eymard; parents, Duard and Evena Pitre Eymard; brother, Emile Eymard; sister, Romanda Guidry and Arcedie Ducet; grandchildren, Peter Orgeron and Jody Pierce; and great-grandchild, Trish Barrios.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with mass to follow. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Galliano.

Falgout Funeral Home of Cut Off is entrusted with the arrangements.
