October 7, 2011Louis Joseph Grabert, 82, a native of Valentine, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011.
Mr. Grabert was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son, Wayne (Wanda) Grabert; daughter, Sherry (Daniel) Cheramie; sisters, Rena LeBlanc and Enola Hebert; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emelia Grabert; parents, John and Nola Grabert; brothers, Edward, Rene and Roy Grabert; and sisters, Una Grabert, Rose Matherne and Anna Thibodeaux.
Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
