Louise Naquin Richard, 86, a native of Thibodaux, LA. for 57 years, a resident of Labadieville, LA. for 29 years, and spent the last six months of her life near her daughter at Eden Brook of The Woodlands, TX., died Sunday, March 11, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou Richard Boudousquie and husband, Steve, of Spring, TX.; one daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Gros Richard; one brother, Philip Naquin of Schriever, LA.; one sister, Lena Constant of Thibodaux; four grandchildren, Dawn Richard Oncale, Jason Richard, and Cory and Blair Boudousquie; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gillis Richard; one son, Gillis Richard Jr.; her parents, Philip and Corine Naquin; and three sisters, Annelle Clement, Lula Adams and Lucille Rodrigue.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
