Louvenia “Lou” Wallace, 85, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, May 4.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Cole and Iraneika Williams of Houma; sister, Rosetta Barrio of New Orleans, La.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Wallace; parents, Joseph and Albertha Brown Wallace; brothers, Earl, Dan, Arthur, and Mervin Riley, and Irvin and Hebert McBride; and sisters, Gladys, Isabel, Gestine, and Earline Riley and Dorothy McBride.
She was Baptist and a member of Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, May 11, at Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Crozier Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
