Lucille “Lou” Chaisson, 68, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:48 a.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011.


Mrs. Chaisson was a member of First Baptist Church.


She is survived by her sons, Chris and Stuart Chaisson; daughters, Connie (Andy) Chauvin, Rebecca Chaisson and Rachel (Tommy) Guzman; brother, Walter Thibodaux; sisters, Eloise Dubois, Shirley Theriot, Gail Legendre and Barbara Breaux; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester J. Chaisson; parents, Levi and Lillian Thibodaux; brothers, Levy and Lloyd Thibodaux; and sister, Joyce Marcel.

Burial was at New Hope Cemetery. (Falgout)
