Lynne Margaret Foret, 77, a native of New Iberia, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013.
Mrs. Foret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and was especially fond of the Christmas holiday season. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dudley Foret; son, Morgan (Roxanne) Foret; daughters, Tammy (Keith) Savoie and Mary (Burnell) Clement; sisters, Colleen Foret and Mary Deroche; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bourgeois and Eula Benoit; and stepfather, Gaston Benoit.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
