Families appeal for empathy with state closures
November 8, 2010Mable Louise Pete Rulf, 83, a resident of Berwick, La., died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.
Ms. Rulf lived her life serving others and fulfilling Jesus’ commandment to love one another. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone at the family gatherings. Mable did not shy away from hard work as she worked as a crab picker and on the shrimp boat with her husband. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to all her children. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Donald) Pierrotti and Mable Folse; sisters, Beulah Borel, Jeannette Pete and Iris Meranta; three grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Berwick Mausoleum.
