Maggie Brown Arceneaux, 95, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010.


Ms. Arceneaux was a member of First Corinthians Baptist Church and Pride of Houma Chapter 38 Eastern Star. She enjoyed watching the Saints, baking and crocheting.


She is survived by sons, Nolan Jr. (Versie), Clarence, Freddie and William Pierce; daughter, Joyce (Frank) Johnson; sister, Catherine (Robert) Hoskins; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at First Corinthian Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at the church with burial at Southdown Cemetery
