Marcelin F. Pichauffe, 81, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, La., died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, June 26.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Rogers Pichauffe; one daughter, Barbara LeBoeuf and husband, Ronald; niece that they raised, Kathleen LeBoeuf and husband, Randy; three sisters, Marie Dugas, Adenise Dugas and Eva Kraemer; two grandchildren, Keith Giroir and wife, Justine, and Heath Giroir and wife, Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Jaitlynn and Kaleb Giroir; one great-nephew, Mathew LeBoeuf; and one great-niece, Heather LeBoeuf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Pichauff Sr. and Eva Boudoin Pichauffe; one daughter, Anna Giroir; three brothers, Paul, Louis and Joseph Pichauffe Jr.; and two sisters, Louise Pichauffe and Mary Juisti.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home of Houma and 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday, June 28, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Houma. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
