Margaret Rowe Crouch, 68, a native of Robeline, La., and a resident of Franklin, La., died at Dautrive Hospital in New Iberia, La., Friday Sept. 4.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Crouch Jr.; one daughter, Amanda Crouch of Franklin; and two sisters, Joann Yellott and husband Donald of DeQuincy, La., and Dixie Williams of Shreveport, La.


She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Louis and Tecia Burns Rowe; and one brother, Bobby Ray Rowe.

She was a lover of all animals of which she adopted many. She was a member of the ASPCA and enjoyed working with the organization. As a legal secretary, she developed a liking for reading almost anything but mainly books and papers about the legal profession. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and visiting with family and friends, and helping others in many ways.

The funeral service was Monday, Sept. 7, with burial at Morgan City Cemetery.
