Marguerite M. Stevens Bartell, 91, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 6:04 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2010.
Ms. Bartell enjoyed her prayer group, music, reading, sewing and crafts.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Pam), Michael and Brian Bartell; daughters, Linda Gaffney, Susan (Richard) Prejeant and Ellen Bartell; brother, Van Stevens; sisters, Marcella Stevens and Betty Bergeron; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Bartell; parents, Freddie and Zulma Stevens; one son, Gary W. Bartell; daughter-in-law, Penny Bartell; son-in-law, James Gaffney; one granddaughter, Michelle Bartell; one brother, Kerwin Stevens; and one sister, Doris S. Cannon.
She is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
