Marie Dardar Ledet, 77, a native of Point Aux Chenes, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011.
Mrs. Ledet was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Daisy Dardar and Joseph Verdin Jr.; great-granddaughter, Serah Dardar; brother, Thomas Dardar Sr.; and sisters, Gloria Crochet and Sedonia Cotton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Ledet; parents, Joe and Selvina Dardar; son, Joseph Verdin; and brothers, Constance, Jack and Eli Hendon and Adam, Dennis, Ernest and Antoine Dardar.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
