February 8, 2010Marie “Mio” Gros Tabor, 98, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Labadieville, La., died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.
She is survived by sons, Rives, Roy, Eddie (Janet) and James (Earline) Tabor; daughter, Theresa (Roy Sr.) Naquin; brother, Chester Gros; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, August Tabor; parents, Frank Gros and Evella Naquin; sons, Gilbert and Joseph Tabor; brother, Thomas Gros; great-grandson, Russ Gregorie Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Lois Tabor.
Mrs. Tabor is buried at St. Philomena Catholic Church Cemetery.
