Marilyn Motter Langston, 77, a native of Alexandria, La., and resident of Franklin, La., died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011.


Mrs. Langston received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northwestern State College and a Master’s Degree from LSU. She was a 4-H agent as well as a home economist for the LSU Extension Service.


She is survived by her husband of 54 years, L.L. Langston; daughter, Stephanie (Anthony) Mason; brother, John (Mary) Motter; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene Motter.

Burial was at Greenwood Memorial Park in Pineville, La. (Ibert’s)
