Marion Thomas, 87, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Smith and Brenda Jackson; sons, Joseph, William (Lois) and James (Ruth) Thomas; stepdaughter, Myrna (Sidney) Millard; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas; parents, Camille and Annie Rouen; sisters, Vera Findorf and Annie Rouen; brothers, Ray, Carroll, Elton and Hugh Rouen; and one grandchild.
Burial was at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
