Marshall Canafax, 56, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Saturday, Oct. 3, at 11:20 a.m.
He is survived by his mother, Rosetta F. Canafax; three sons, Devin Canafax and wife Crystal, Nicholas Canafax and Eric Canafax; one brother, Carl Canafax; two sisters, Donaleen Chaisson and Lorell Hornbrook; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Holmes Canafax.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
