Martha Ann Carter Spencer, 55, a native and resident of Houma, La died Tuesday, June 5, 2007.
She is survived by her mother, Heser M. Scott; five sons, Ron and Christopher Carter, Roosevelt, Raymond and Warren Spencer; three brothers, Zachery, Sr., Ryan and Don Scott, Sr.; three sisters, Mable Carter, Olivia Scott and Carnella Jackson; four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Spencer, Sr.; father, Leroy Carter; grandmother, Olivia Jones.
She was a Baptist and attended Mount Horeb Baptist Church.
She enjoyed sewing and baking and was a cook for Terrebonne Parish School Board.
Visitation is Monday morning, June 11, 2007, from 9:00am until the funeral at 10:00am at Greater New Salem Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Deweyville Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
