Mary “Dus” L. Gregoire, 88, a native and resident of Dulac, La., died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, December 13.
She is survived by three daughters, Pearly Parfait, Gertie Pierre and Lydia Duthu and husband Ted; four sons, Paul “T-Boy” Gregoire Sr., Antoine “T-Man” Gregoire Sr., Joseph “NuNu” Gregoire and Julius Gregoire and wife Frances; 26 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Evelina Solet Lodrigue; her husband, Albert Gregoire Jr.; one daughter, Mary “Meon” Trosclair; one brother, Antoine Lodrigue; three sisters, Stella Verdin, Margie Gregoire and an infant sister; one grandson, Mitch Gregoire; and two great-granddaughters, Tiffany Billiot and Madison Richoux.
She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, December 15, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, at Chauvin Funeral Home, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at St. Eloi Cemetery in Dularge, La.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
