Mary “Sush” Florence Billiot Parfait, 65, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Dulac, La., died Friday, May 8.
She is survived by her husband, James Parfait of Dulac; daughters, Oneida Parfait, Kathleen Parfait and Lucinda Billiot, all of Houma, La.; brothers: Calvin, Lawrence Jr. and Julius Billiot, all of Dulac, and Joseph Billiot of Houma; sisters, Helen Billiot of Montegut, La., Lucille Babin and Eula Lovell of Houma; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Billiot Sr. and Helen Defelice Billiot; son, Kenneth Parfait; daughter, Juanita Parfait; and sister, Beulah Billiot.
She was Methodist and a member of Clanton Chapel in Dulac. She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 11, to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Clanton Chapel in Dulac. A religious service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
