Matthew Charles Grundon, 27, a native and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, May 2.


He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Faith Grundon of Houma; father, Daniel Grundon Sr. of Houma; sisters, Stacy Ledet and husband Pudgie of Houma, and Dana Thibodeaux and husband Craig of Houma; fiance’, Becki Robichaux; grandmother, Winnie Grundon; nephews, Brad and Eric Thibodeaux, and Grant Ledet; and niece, Whitney Ledet.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Faith Cottun Grundon; brothers, Danny, Timmy and Nicholas Grundon; grandmother, Maudie Lee Butler; and grandfathers, Charles Grundon Sr. and Louis Cottun.

He was a computer technician for Complete Network Management. He was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Anthony Church.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at St. Anthony Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be held at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
