May Boudoin Dufrene, 87, a native of Lockport, La. for 50 years, died Sunday, January 27, 2008.


She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dugan Gauthreaux and husband, Jerry; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three step-great-great-grandchildren; three foster grandchildren; seven foster great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence J. Dugan; her second husband, Gaston J. Dufrene; and her parents, Willie and Alfreda Foret Boudoin.

May was a member of Holy Savior Ladies Altar Society, the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008, and 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
