Milanese Terrebonne Louviere, a much devoted wife and mother, and resident of Golden Meadow, La., passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 92 at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday, April 14.


She is survived by her husband, Charlie A. Louviere Sr. after 73 years of marriage; daughter, Mona Louviere Gisclair; sons, Charles Louviere Jr. and wife Geraldine, and Gerald Louviere and wife Juliette; sister, Nancy Terrebonne; brother, Jimmy Terrebonne and wife Thelma; grandchildren, Ron Gisclair, Marc Gisclair, Grant Louviere and wife Selina, Shelly Borne and husband Raymond, David Louviere and wife Connie, Tina Crosby and husband Thomas, Ann Addison and husband Moody, Hollie Fournier and husband Lane, and Peter Louviere and wife Bonnie; sisters-in-law, Lena Terrebonne, wife of the late Claydomire Terrebonne, and Alice Mae Terrebonne, wife of the late Paul Terrebonne; and 14 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Melina Lafont Terrebonne; father, Dominique Terrebonne; sisters, Beatrice Cuneo and husband Hanson, Elizabeth Galjour and husband Dominique, Cecelia Cheramie and husband Randolph, and Peggy Terrebonne Theriot; and brothers, Paul Terrebonne and Claydomire Terrebonne.

Her meek, humble and quiet spirit will always be remembered by those who loved her.

A family gathering will at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La. Private interment will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Mausoleum in Golden Meadow.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
