Mildred Breaux Skidmore, 82, a native of Klotzville, LA., died at Oschner Medical Center in Kenner, LA., Sunday, January 21, 2007.


Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Klotzville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Matthew Skidmore and wife, Ramona, of Harvey, LA., Harold Skidmore and wife, Deola, of Thibodaux, LA., Herman Skidmore and wife, Lucille, of Bertrandville, LA. and Walmer Skidmore and wife, Albertha, of Schriever, LA.; three sisters, Hilda Bell, Eula Whittington and Theresa Bell and husband, Timothy, of Belle Rose, LA.; two brothers, Welmon Breaux Sr. of Buffalo, N.Y., and Phillip Breaux Sr. of Belle Rose; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Skidmore Sr.; her parents, Enola and Felix Breaux Sr.; two sisters, Mable Condoll and Josephine Buggage; and four brothers, Felix Jr., Roosevelt Sr., Sidney Sr. and Lawrence Bill Breaux.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
