Milton Joseph Ledet Jr., 52, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, December 17, at 11:15 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Garrett Ledet; father, Milton “M.J.” “Bada” Ledet Sr.; son, Lance Ledet and wife Jessica; daughters, Annie Lirette and husband Robert, Elizabeth Conerly and husband “Cg” and Angela Warner; brother, Todd Ledet Sr. and wife Missy; sisters, Donna McElroy and husband Jesse; Kathy Ledet, Cindy Martin and husband Ross and Mary Scott and husband Gilbert; grandchildren, Alyssa Lynn Conerly, Iya Alyse Conerly and Eion Scott; godchildren, Todd Ledet Jr. and Wendell Neal Jr.; special friends, Morgan, Elizabeth and Alexander Allison; and his beloved Jack Russell terrier Jill.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Pitre Ledet; brother, Shane Ledet; grandson, Joshua Christopher Collor Jr.; grandparents, Norris Ledet and wife Annie, Agnes Thibodeaux Ledet and James and Josephine Leonard Pitre; niece Harley Martin; and nephew, Blake Scott.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, December 20, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with the funeral services to follow. Burial will be at Roger Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
