Minos Joseph Faulk, 96, a native of Kaplan, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011.
He is survived by his sons, David (Linda), Marshall (Patti), Gerald and Mark (Willie Lou) Faulk; brother, John Faulk; 10 grandchildren, Emmet Jr., Eric, Steven, Michael, Kevin, Kyle, Melanie and Robert Faulk, Andree Gerami, and Jennifer Runkel; 14 great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Andrew and Alexis Faulk, Sarah and Rebecca Gerami, Austin, Chloe and Nicholas Faulk, Landon Champagne, Hannah and Brandon Runkel and Katie, Isabella, Anna and Emily Faulk.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Faulk; son, Emmet Faulk; father, Ulyssee Faulk; mother, Olympe Landry Faulke; stepmother, Noema Broussard Faulk; brothers, Edes, Freddie and J.Y. Faulk; and two sisters, Ella Guidry and Agnes Allemand.
Pallbearers were Emmet Jr., Eric, Kevin, Kyle, Stephen, Robert and Michael Faulk.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor of Houma as well as St. Catherine’s Hospice.
He is buried at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
