Morris Watson Sr.
Morris Watson Sr., 83, a native of Gibson, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Mr. Watson was Baptist.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Daniel) Dardar and Ollie Johnson, June (Lloyd) Wallis and Sylvia Martin; sons, Vincent Sr. (Natasha) and Morris Jr. Watson, Alvin (Altomesa) Theriot and Treahan Mathews; sister, Evelyn Dorsey; 27 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Sr. and Alice Watson; brothers, Daniel Jr. and Eugene Sr. Watson; sisters, Audrey Theodore, Muritta Trosclair, Evanna Alvis, Helen Bacchus and Celina Lewis; and grandparents, Rose and Willie Ruffin.
Burial was at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson. (Kennedy)
