Mr. Herman P. Savoie, 74, a native of Larose, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 28.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline Estay Savoie; son, Mitch Savoie; daughter, Pauline (Kurt) Melancon; sister, Velma Arceneaux; and grandchild, Maranatha Savoie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Pauline Richoux Savoie; brothers, Luke, Rene, Maurice, Sylvester, Nolan and Milton Savoie; and sisters, Lou Mobley, Della Krohm and Doris Boudreaux.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose, La.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
