Ms. Alma Allen

Ms. Alma Allen, 84, a native of Utica, Miss., and a resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009.

She is survived by her children, Bobbie Allen Dupre, Leah (Billy) Anslum, and Gloria, Jimmie (Debbie), Emery, Rusty (Sherry) and Cecil (Christina) Allen; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

She loved her Savior Jesus. She loved each and every one of her children and grandchildren abundantly. She never met a stranger and she was friendly and loving to anyone that she met. She loved to read her newspaper.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Twin City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Morgan City Cemetery.

Twin City Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
