November 18, 2009Ms. Beryl Ann Shelvy Kennedy, 50, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009.
She is survived by her mother, Gloria Mae Matthews Lloyd; sons, Danny Jr. and Derrick Paul Kennedy; brothers, Royal Jr. and Ronald Shelvy and Oliver Carlton Lloyd; sisters, Cheryl (Jose’) Sears, Carlette Lloyd and Germaine (Spencer) Baker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Royal Shelvy Sr.; sisters, Angela and Carla Faye Shelvy; maternal grandparents, Clarence Sr. and Eartha Matthews; paternal grandparents, Hearld Sr. and Olevia Shelvy; and one granddaughter.
She was a member of Moses Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
