Ms. Geraldine Acosta

Ms. Geraldine Acosta, 63, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Gibson, La., died Tuesday, Oct.27, at 9:50 p.m.

She is survived by her sons, Johnney Jr. (Kim) and Shane (Shelly) Acosta; daughter, Becky (Kirt) Templet; mother, Thelma Hebert; brother, Hillary Hebert; sisters, Diana Guillory and Stella Castile; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnney Acosta Sr.; and father, Milton Hebert Sr.

She was truly a giving and unselfish person who donated her time and gave of herself freely to all in need. She was a kid at heart from riding seadoo’s to riding four wheelers. She also loved to swim, fish and boat ride and would even make a bed a great trampoline. She was a fun loving lady and very humorous. Whatever came her way she faced it with a smile and made the best out of every situation. Geraldine was a remarkable person who will be forever remembered by all.

Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, Oct. 30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Morgan City Cemetery
