Ms. Laura Mae Clement Adams, 77, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Oct. 26.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Eve Parr) Adams; daughter, Sheila (Edmond) Guillot; brother, Daniel Clement; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laura Adams; and parents, Joseph and Cecile Dufour Clement.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend who gave of herself willingly to anyone who came in her contact. She was faithful to her church, Christ the Redeemer, and always helped her neighbors in times of need. She was a member of the Christmas toy drive for many years and helped at her church with the bingo social for the elderly. She was an avid reader and walker and loved taking bus trips with her friends. She will greatly be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Christ the Redeemer Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
