Munson P. Bourg, 71, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of Chackbay, La., died Sunday, Aug. 23.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Degruise Bourg; one stepson, Howard Chiasson; one brother, Carroll Bourg; one niece; and numerous nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ursin and Celestine Gauthreaux Bourg; two brothers, Russell and Harris Bourg; and two sisters, Irene B. Bertrand and Thelma B. Benoit.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
