Myron Joseph Rhodes, 80, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 17, 2013.
Mr. Rhodes was a loving and humble man who enjoyed fishing, playing piano and building small boats.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret Rhodes; son, Kevin Rhodes; daughters, Diane (Timothy) Fournier and Sheila (John) Emerson; brothers, Leroy (Gail), Michael (Patti), Murphy (Kathleen) and Bobby (Sherlyn) Rhodes; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Ella Rhodes; son, Byron Rhodes; and brothers, Lloyd and Kenneth Rhodes.
Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
