Myron Peter Chatagnier, 56, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 22, at 8:10 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Falcon Chatagnier of Houma; parents, Medelton and Hazel Price Chatagnier of Bourg, La.; daughter, Dodie Doiron and husband Glen of Houma; brothers, Jessie Chatagnier and wife Linda of Bayou Blue, La., and Danny Chatagnier and companion Geri of Bourg; and grandchildren, Cody, Chase and Carson Doiron.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willis and Louvenia Chatagnier and Heny and Felicia Price.
He was a pop-a-lock technician and a retired tugboat captain for G & B Marine. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
