Nancy LeCompte Robert, 72, a native of Bayou Cane, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Aug. 21, at 8:50 p.m.
She is survived by two sons, Harris “Danny” Clostio and Curtis Dupre and wife Juanita; two daughters, Hedy Dupre and companion Troy Orgeron, and Wendy Guidry and husband Larry; two sisters, Thelma Dupre and Zula Pitre; niece and best friend, Rosalie Hebert; nine grandchildren, Shelly Paul Ellender, Adam Ross Dupre, Tiffani Lauren Chauvin, Stacey D. Duval, Tommy A. Dupre, Heather L. Guidry, and Brent, Leonard and Danielle Clostio; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dupre; parents, Shelly J. and Rita LeBouef LeCompte; one brother, Earl LeCompte; and two sisters, Clara Hebert and Beulah Robinson.
Nancy passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
