March 6, 2014Nolia Rodrigue Mahler, 84, a resident of Chackbay, La., died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014.
Mrs. Mahler was a loving mother to all – even her extended family. Everyone could always count on her support and guidance throughout life. She enjoyed eating out and dancing. She and her husband worked together in the family business, Mahler’s Meat Market, for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, David Mahler; daughter, Sandra (Dwight) Sandlin; sons, Shelton (Sandra), Ricky (Sarah), Floyd (Tammy) and Douglas (Cheryl) Mahler; sister, Hilda Adam; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambroise and Ida Rose Rodrigue.
Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Thibodaux Family Church with services to follow. Burial will be at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
