Nora Bourgeois Acosta, 87, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Monday, August 18, at 4:30 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Acosta, Gary Acosta and Maximillion Acosta III; daughter, Amy Fonseca; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maximillion Acosta, Jr.; parents, Thomas and Nora Mayet Bourgeois; brothers, Tommy, Conrad, Ferdinand and Guy Bourgeois; and sisters, Eloise Koebel, Mae Gibbons and Aline Breaux.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lockport.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, August 21, at Holy Savior Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
