Norma Jean Eschette Autin Wadin, 72, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Denham Springs, La., died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013.
Mrs. Wadin was a beautiful, kind woman who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a loving mother and took great joy in cooking for her children and grandchildren. She had a unique way of making everyone feel special. She and her husband were the former owners of Norma’s Kitchen in Houma, La. Her dream was to “feed all who are hungry”.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Wadin; sons, Paul, Michael, Malcolm and Brian Autin; daughter, Dawn Autin; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Autin Sr.; parents, Dorina and Malcolm Eschette; and brothers, Manuel and Kenneth Eschette.
Burial is at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Houma. (Chauvin)
