Norman “Tookie” J. Leonard, a native and resident of Houma, La., passed away Sunday, May 10.
He is survived by his companion, Alice Pellegrin; sons, Norman Charles and wife Melissa, and Timothy Joseph Sr. and wife Amy; daughter, Jolene Marie Leonard; brother, Michael Leonard; sisters, Meryl Hebert and husband Gene, Glenda Forse and husband Tommy, Judy Larpenter and husband Steve, Sybil Grant and husband John, and Elizabeth Leonard; grandchildren, Amanda Breaux, Sadina Leonard, Joycelun Leonard, Kristie Lynn Leonard, Nicholas Leonard, Timothy Leonard Jr., Ronnie Solet and Adrina Renee Leonard; and great-grandchildren, Abigail Boudwin, Brandon Breaux and Colby Breaux.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adrina Breaux Leonard; parents, Antoinette Trahan Leonard and Herman Leonard; and brother, Herbert Leonard.
He was an employee of J-Ray McDermott for 28 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who greatly love him.
Private services for immediate family only will be at 4 p.m. Monday, May 11, at Falgout Funeral Home. Open visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, May 11, at the funeral home and 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday, May 12, at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
