LSU gets kickoff boost from Holliday to defeat Ole Miss

Norris Joseph Robichaux, 102, a native and resident of Chauvin, La. died Saturday, November 17, 2007, at 3:00 p.m.


He is survived by his two sons, Julius Robichaux and his wife Maria and Aaron Robichaux and his wife Nelly; seven daughters, Alberta Sexton, Eveline Theriot, Edna Luke, Etta Ledet and her husband Ivan, Bertha Pellegrin and her husband Steven, Norma Sevin and her husband Brent, and Anna Lee Robertson; one sister, Gertie Pellegrin; 30 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 62 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angolia Chaisson Robichaux; his parents, Adam and Marie Duplantis Robichaux; seven grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Oliver and Irvin Robichaux; and six sisters, Clavia Pellegrin, Olivia Pellegrin; Lena Authement; Lucretia Champagne, Eva Defelice, and Florence Lapeyrouse.

Visitation is Monday, November 19, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 20, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Chauvin Knights of Columbus Hall, with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Church in Chauvin, La. He will be buried in the church cemetery.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
