The top-ranked LSU football team won for the 18th-straight time in the month of November, getting the better of an offensive battle with rival Ole Miss on Saturday, 41-24, at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

LSU (10-1, 6-1 SEC) has now recorded double-digit wins for a school-record three straight seasons.

The Tigers, who clinched the school’s first outright Southeastern Conference Western Division title, will face Arkansas on Friday, Nov. 23, at 1:30 p.m. in Tiger Stadium to complete the regular season.

The game will be nationally televised by CBS.

LSU will then head to the SEC Championship contest on Dec. 1 in Atlanta against Tennessee or Georgia.

That game, which will also be nationally televised by CBS, will begin at 3 p.m. local time.

Against the Rebels, LSU found itself tied with the home squad at 7-all in the first quarter, but got a 98-yard kickoff return by Trindon Holliday for a lead it would never give up. Ole Miss did rally late, but was never able to get closer than 10 points in the fourth quarter.

Keiland Williams rushed in from 10 yards out with just over 10 minutes left in the third quarter to make the score 21-7.

After an Ole Miss field goal, Colt David connected on attempts of 48 and 43 yards to put LSU up 27-10 early in the fourth quarter.

Each team traded a pair of touchdowns to account for the final score.

Flynn scored the first touchdown on the game on a 5-yard run, capping a 11-play, 98-yard drive.

Defensively, Craig Steltz had five tackles and two interceptions. Danny McCray and Curtis Taylor added eight tackles each.
