Norwin “Nowood” Adams, 75, a native and resident of Lockport, La. died Friday, December 21, 2007, at 12:15 p.m.
He is survived by his wife Lottie Adams; two sons, Michael Adams and Rick Adams and his wife Jennifer; one daughter, Laura Loupe; three brothers, Nessey, Ernest, and L.J. Adams; three sisters, Velma Plaisance, Eula Savoie, and Shirley Pierce; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillier and Alexina Thibodaux Adams; one brother, Richard Adams; and one sister, Esma Orgeron.
Norwin was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., and a past member of the Lockport Auxillary Police Department.
He is buried in Resurrection Memorial Park in Mathews, La.
