Ouida Mae Dupre, 75, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died at 8:19 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011.

Mrs. Dupre was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved the casino and playing cards with friends. She enjoyed her rose bushes and enjoyed her family the most. She was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.


She is survived by her husband, Harmon Dupre; sons, Rickie (Linda) and Karel Dupre; daughters, Debbie and Dinah Dupre and Wanda (Daniel) Pitre; brother, Errol (Theresa) Duplantis; sister, Leona Landry; four grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Elise Duplantis; brothers, Irving Jr., Allen and Floyd Duplantis; sisters, Diane Duplantis and Audrey Bergeron; and grandson, Jared Naquin.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, and 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at St. Ann Catholic Church Community Center with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
