Ozea Marie V. Lirette, 89, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, January 28, 2008, at 9:20 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Jessie and wife Janet, Ray and wife Cheryl, Jerry and wife Pat, and Jimmy and wife Robin Lirette; 12 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand and Dora Malbrough Voclain; two infant daughters; brothers, Wilbert, Albert and O.J. Voclain; and sister Armance Prevost.
Ozea was a parishioner of St. Bernadette.
Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, and 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2008, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel with the funeral to follow. There will be a recitation of the Rosary Thursday, January 31 at 7:00 p.m. She will be buried at St. Francis II Mausoleum.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
