Patrick J. Lytal, 85, a native of Lockport, La., and longtime resident of the Palm Beaches in Fla., died Wednesday, March 23, 2011.


In the mid 1940’s Pat moved to West Palm Beach with his family. One of his early jobs was a lifeguard where he met his first wife, Dorothy, who preceded him in death in September of 1987. He soon found his calling in his love for cars and began his long career as the consummate car salesman. He was employed by Bruce Strong Chrysler-Plymouth, Stewart Pontiac and Schooley Cadillac. It was at Stewart Pontiac where he met his present wife, Jean.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Lytal; son, Steven Lytal; three granddaughters, Faith Lytal, Rhiannon Andreychik and April Day Lytal; and two great-grandchildren, Juliana Lytal and Christian Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Noelie Lytal; his first wife, Dorothy; two children, Michael Lytal and Mary Andreychik; and one brother, Jimmy Lytal. (Quattlebaum of West Palm Beach)
